Areef Hack

Areef is a veteran of the hedge fund industry, having spent a decade at Polar Asset Management Partners, Canada’s oldest and largest multi-strategy hedge fund. 

As Director of Business Development & Investor Relations, he was responsible for cultivating relationships with wealth managers, family offices, and institutional investors across North America, Europe and Asia.  Over the course of his career, Areef developed a reputation for providing exceptional client service and being a knowledgeable industry partner and leader.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Areef enjoys playing hockey, exploring motorsports, and travelling with his wife.  He also volunteers and is part of the fundraising team at the Down Syndrome Association of Toronto (DSAT).
